The accident happened early on Thursday, on the border between the states of Acre and Rondonia. Witnesses said the driver of a Honda Civic model car, red with plate DDM 3903, tried to dodge an anaconda snake when he caused a collision with a truck transporting refrigerants.
The impact of the collision caused an explosion that claimed the lives of all who were in the car. About five people were in the car when the accident happened, a couple of Porto Velho, the son, son's girlfriend, and a family friend. The victims returned from the city of Cobija, Bolivia, a country that borders the state of Acre, where they made purchases and returned to Rondônia.
